The helpfull attitude of the staff on reception. The good quality beds.Cleanliness.
Too few and poor quality hangers for clothes. Relatively little space in twin room. Only space for one chair.
Staff were just excellent, so friendly and willing to help. Good English skills too. Breakfast was lovely and we found the location of the hotel good, but the hill was difficult after a long day sightseeing. I would definitely return to this hotel next time I'm in POrto. We loved the city too.
Nothing...all excellent. Will recommend hotel to family and friends.
Very friendly receptionist when we arrived (1st May). Told us all about the city and made us feel very welcome. The hotel was very clean and our room was comfortable.
The hotel is reasonably high up and a 5 min walk uphill from the nearest metro. Wasn't an issue for us but we also learned about the funicular down near the bridge which was useful if you're heading to or from the water front.
Ordinary Quality Inn hotel. Very clean. Friendly and helpful staff. Nice lobby area. The location is very good with three restaurants just next to the hotel and a few blocks away from the tube to the airport.
The room had a terrace with view over another building, and with a very low fence. Wouldn't recommend that for small children. Breakfast a bit boring, missed som fresh vegetables.
being centre to Porto
Very good value for money, good location - walking distance to Ribeira. There is a bus stop in front of the hotel of a 'hop-on, hop-off' tourist bus which I would recommend if you are staying for 1-2 days in Porto. The rooms are very good, there are coffee/tea facilities that are free of charge. Breakfast was great, with bits of everything. Hotel staff were extremely helpful.
its location near the centre of the town
the bar or lack of a decent bar
Quite in center, all sights very close, attractive price.
Rooms are not very big, parking not in hotel, but low price excuses all that ))
Perfect location, in the centre of Porto. Only a couple of streets away from the metro. Airport can easily be reached by metro. Nice tip: the Porto by night tour, interesting tour and see the all the beautiful features of Porto and do get some nice tips from the local guide
Where some problems with the electricity in our room. Breakfast is very simple, much nicer to have breakfast in one of the many coffee shop and would probably be even cheaper as they only charge you 60ct. for a cup of coffee.
The staff were very helpfull and welcoming. The hotel was good. The central location was useful
On walking towards the hotel from walking uphill from the metro I saw a terrible empty building full of graffity. I thought What did I get myself into? I was terrified.
It was very convenient to stay at this hotel. We liked it and would like to go there again.
Difficult to find the hotel and parking is off site. Took 2+ hours to locate the hotel as there was a demonstration in front of the hotel and the streets were blocked off.
Good central location, walking distance from Duaro river and Porto caves.
Reception staff was unfriendly during a check-out. My name is quite long and it was impossible to put everything on the invoice. The employer told him that it was not his problem but mine.
We had a fabulous 3 nights in Porto. It is a quiet city that allowed us to tour the sites but have lots of down time. This hotel was awesome. Maria (and all the front desk staff) were a delight and helped us with so much. Breakfast was huge and hearty...eggs, bacon and sausage along with the regular bfast items. The hotel is in a perfect spot to reach anything in town, not far from a metro and is very QUIET (good soundproofing)
The beds were a bit hard on our backs!
Central location Good room size- room 322 Excellent breakfast Friendly staff Value for money Our 3rd visit - will come again
Temperature in bedroom too low, and remote control set at 19 and couldnt change it. Tv lounge also cold Bathroom fittings needed minor repairs
